Asahii offers orthodontic treatment with braces and with clear aligners. Each treatment plan is based on your bite and facial aesthetics, to give you a balanced smile.

Your progress is checked regularly, adjusted in time, and you receive detailed care instructions to help shorten treatment.

Every treatment plan is 100% personalised and designed by a dentist specialising in orthodontics, with safety, effectiveness and aesthetics in mind. Asahii uses genuine appliances from leading international brands such as 3M, AO, Ormco, RMO and Invisalign.

Designed by a dentist specialising in orthodontics, for your own situation.

Types of braces at Asahii

Your dentist will advise on the type of braces based on your teeth, your aesthetic wishes and cost.

  • Metal braces

Small, comfortable and affordable. Self-ligating versions with a sliding clip reduce friction, shorten treatment time and need fewer appointments.

  • Ceramic braces

Made of ceramic or sapphire, with good aesthetics. Self-ligating ceramic versions with a clip reduce friction compared with conventional braces.

  • Damon self-ligating braces

Developed by Ormco (USA), with a passive self-ligating sliding mechanism: minimal friction, supports natural arch expansion, reduces the need for extractions, shortens orthodontic treatment and is easier to clean.

  • Invisalign clear aligners

A series of aligners personalised with ClinCheck® 3D software, SmartTrack material, SmartForce technology and the iTero 5D Lumina scanner. Removable, discreet, suitable for adults and children.

Orthodontics for growing children

Treatment at the right time can improve the relationship between the jaws and make later orthodontic treatment less complex.

  • Twin Block, Bionator

Removable functional appliances for Class II bite problems (skeletal protrusion), usually at ages 8–14, helping the lower jaw grow forward.

  • Facemask

Supports treatment of skeletal underbite (Class III) in children, most effective around ages 7–12, reducing the risk of jaw surgery in adulthood.

  • Space maintainer

Holds space for the permanent tooth when a baby tooth is lost early, preventing drifting and crowding later.

  • Invisalign for children and teens

Packages for children with mixed teeth and for ages 10–18 with skeletal problems that need treatment.

When should you consider braces?

Protruding teeth, underbite (crossbite), deep bite, open bite, gaps, crowded teeth or a misaligned bite… An early check-up allows the best plan, especially for children while their jaws are still growing.

  • Metal or ceramic braces with modern archwires
  • Removable clear aligners, discreet and easy to take out
  • Consultation and smile simulation before treatment
  • Flexible follow-up appointments for busy people

Frequently asked questions

How long does orthodontic treatment take?

On average 12–24 months, depending on how misaligned the teeth are and the method (braces or clear aligners). An assessment visit gives you a clear estimated timeline.

Do braces hurt? Will they affect eating?

Usually there is only mild soreness for the first 3–5 days after each adjustment or new set of aligners. Eat soft food for a few days and clean carefully as instructed.

Can my teeth move back after treatment?

You need to wear a retainer as instructed to keep the result stable in the long term. Regular check-ups help control the risk of relapse.

What is a mini-screw (Minivis)? When is it needed?

A mini-screw is a small medical titanium screw placed temporarily in the jawbone as a fixed anchor point, helping move teeth more precisely. It is usually used to move a whole arch back, close spaces after extractions or missing teeth, upright or intrude teeth, or for severely misaligned teeth.

Are clear aligners suitable for every case?

Most misalignment cases can be treated with clear aligners; however, complex cases may need braces or a combination. Your dentist will advise after an examination.

Do I need teeth taken out for braces?

Whether extractions are needed depends on the degree of crowding, the jaw relationship and the aesthetic goal. Asahii prefers the most conservative option.
